Women that Men Prefer to Date

Here is a list on what men search for in a women when they look to make that perfect date a reality:

•           She takes an interest in her date. No, she doesn’t have to pretend to be enthralled when some guy tells her about his stamp collection. But if she weren’t curious about you in the first place, she wouldn’t have agreed to go out for the evening. She should let her curiosity show. And if you are the sort of guy to talk about his ant farm for two and a half hours, she’ll get early warning to make sure she’s very busy next Friday night.

•           She wants adventure! Men don’t want to go to a movie. You don’t get to talk or learn anything about your date. A museum, window shopping, anything is better. The perfect date is willing to try roller blading for the first time, or a balloon ride or take a sailing lesson.

•           Her mama may have told your date she’d better shop around. So you’re being judged while you’re on date. That’s okay, so long as this judgment is strictly an internal process. Questions like, “Don’t you think you should be more ambitious?” should not be asked of her.

•           She touches him. If a guy is interested in a woman, he wants to be touched. She’ll pinch or laugh when her date says something funny or tap his arm to make a point. Every touch can be like a small electric jolt.

•           She has taste in clothing. Good presentation can make or break the date. (Uh, this is pretty subjective. Will it break the date if I choose to wear my grandmother’s vintage Christian Dior shawl? Will looking like my glamorous granny turn him off?)

•           The date is entirely free of the one subject men hate most: her ex-boyfriends.

•           The perfect date is tolerant of men’s love of The Three Stooges.

•           When talking to her date, from time to time she holds his gaze just a little too long, as if she’s planning to eat him for dessert. (I swear, men are such egotistical … never mind.)

•           She is an interesting woman, who thinks there’s more to film than dinosaur movies, more to books than just Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus, and more to life than sitting around, waiting for things to happen. Unless, of course, you are the guy who only watches dinosaur or car crash films, hasn’t read a book since high school, and there’s a big dent in your coach waiting for you when you get home from work.

So there you have it, ladies. It’s up to you if you want to tailor yourself after this list. But personally, I would tell you to just be yourself. And if your date can’t take that, well, there are other fish in the sea.
