Beauty tips to fight Acne effectively
Date Posted: November 5th, 2009 Posted Under: Beauty(Hair/Makeup/etc.), Skin Care & Body(Fitness/etc)Acne affects many people in different countries, in all regions of the world. Cures for acne range from expensive prescription medicines to free and easy natural remedies. The effectiveness of these remedies varies greatly and they are not always available to everyone. If you are engaged in a battle against acne, here are some ways in which you could improve your chances of overcoming the problem and reduce the chances of a re-occurrence.
A healthy diet goes a long way to improving many aspects of a person’s life and these include healthier skin. More fruits and vegetables in your diet will help the body to cleanse your skin more efficiently from the inside out. Another aspect of diet to take a closer look at is the amount of water you consume. Water is vital for removing toxins and waste from our bodies. By keeping well hydrated, there’s less chance that your pores will become clogged. Ideally you should be consuming at least 2 litres of water every day.
As well as looking to increase the amount of water in your diet, it is also a good idea to watch the amount of caffeine you take. Caffeine in both coffee and carbonated drinks is known to increase stress levels and make people feel agitated more easily. Stress hormones increase the chances of developing acne, so as well as avoiding caffeine, try to lead a more relaxed life style. By controlling your stress levels your body will start to produce more cortisol, which itself can help to reduce acne.
Many women (and these days also an increasing number of men) use beauty products on a daily basis. Cleansers, cosmetics and make-up are available all around us, all with their promises that they will keep us looking younger and healthier than the other products available. The majority are made from chemical based substances, and although normally tested a great deal before they can be sold, they all leave your skin in an unnatural state. Use or overuse of many of these products can eventually lead to skin disorders, to which the response should be – stop using them! But unfortunately, some people actually think that they should be using them more! Healthy, naturally cleansed skin can be achieved by reducing the chemical based substances and looking for natural alternatives. One great example is soap based on natural tea tree oil.
If you do use some form of acne remedy, be sure to try to follow these pointers and you will find your remedy to be more effective, or hopefully, put you in a position where you never have to use it again!
